The 3-Hour Case of Benjamin Button
I don’t usually write movie reviews, but The Curious Case of Benjamin Button took three hours of my life, so what’s another thirty minutes? There will be some plot spoilers in this article, but don’t worry - the movie isn’t that great.
The story’s premise is simple, but quite interesting. Brad Pitt’s character, Benjamin Button, was born with a disease that makes him reverse age. He starts out as a shriveled old baby-man, and dies as an 85-year-old newborn baby. Confused?

Throughout most of the film, Pitt appears much older than his usual self. It’s not until he’s in his 50s that he looks his normal age. Much of the story is dedicated to Pitt’s undying love for Cate Blanchett’s character, Daisy. Although I was really hoping to see Blanchett’s breasts, it never happened. This is a severe downfall of the movie for me because I obviously love boobs.
I tried to think of a sentence that would summarize the true meaning of this movie, but I don’t even know anymore. I’m sure it has something to do with life being precious, but I don’t see why it had to be three hours long.
My advice to you is save $10 and wait for Benjamin Button to premier on free cable television in 2010. If you absolutely have to see it, here’s what you do: Watch the movie “Forrest Gump,” in reverse. More action, more boobs, more Lieutenant Dan.

This would have been a better movie.
In real life, there is a rare rapid-aging disease called progeria. When a baby is born with progeria, they look very old and continue to age rapidly until they die less than 20 years later - looking like a senior citizen. Nobody with progeria should watch this movie.
Just imagine all the sad little progerian kids who watched Benjamin Button and were filled with the sudden hope that they may reverse age and look like Brad Pitt one day. Pshh!
There is bound to be a gay porno parady of this movie called “The Curious Case of Benjamin’s Butthole.”
